On Sept 6, 2010, my 35th birthday, I began a photo-a-day project. Each photo was taken on that day, which was the only rule. I took pictures of whatever struck my fancy. Day 023 -I was hoping to show the Mets in a better light, but this was my favorite photo of the game. The Mets did win 4-3. A good military journalist will tell you to always include the score in a sports caption, like the great man today's photo is dedicated to. Spc. Joe Padula, who is serving in Afghanistan. He is a great New Yorker and a good man. Make us proud Padula and don't go "nuts."
